And it’s back to blogging!
I had to take the last four weeks or so off from blogging so I could focus on work. I’ll be honest, it’s been a pretty grueling four weeks at the office. Through in all of the personal worries and concerns all of us are facing these days. It’s been exhausting at times…as I know it has been for every one of us. My hope, for all of us, is that we are on the backside of this thing…or at least pretty damn close. Crossing my fingers…
Let me first thank all of my sponsors and blogger managers who have been so supportive over this time. Many have been checking to make sure I was ok and taking care of myself. All of you have worked with me through all of this. I really can’t thank you enough for that. It’s meant a great deal…especially as I have had to step back from what is one of my emotional outlets. Thank you all.
I also want to thank all of my friends who have been keeping tabs on me. I love you guys and you have all been such a support to me…especially those of you who work in health care. It’s meant the world to be able to unload with many of you and get all the stresses off my chest so I just want to say thank you…to all of you.
I should be catching up with everyone on Facebook soon too. Now that are stable, at least on my side of the response, at work, I should be able to check in more, share, catch up, etc. I’ve felt like such a recluse and haven’t had a lot of time to chat some days…so I am hoping that will get better in the coming weeks.
I’m glad to be back though. I do have a few posts that have been inspired by all of the chaos lately…items I needed to blog thanks to the abrupt need to take time off. Nothing morbid. One I think is super cute and the other is, well, just meaningful to me. I hope you will enjoy them all.
So here’s to being back! And also, here’s to us having the internet and Second Life to all keep in touch! Lord I cannot imagine going through all of this without being able to reach out to you all in world or on Facebook and Discord. I would be locked up in the psych ward if that had been the case!
So a special thank you goes out to all the people who have given us the technology to stay connected through all of this, and those who help maintain it. Each of you has left us with a window to the world during this pandemic that previous generations never had.
Please be safe and take care of yourselves! ♥
